Which login do I use?

There’s a million different accounts you use at Oxford, which can be quite confusing. To help here’s a list of the different logins and what they should look like. If you’re still having issues with logging in, email it-support@jesus.ox.ac.uk or visit Gerard Fegan, the college computing officer, in Staircase 5 room 8.

Standard SSO Credentials - eg jesu1234

This is used to login to:

  • Email Services

  • Local computer terminals in college

  • Online university services (weblearn, SOLO etc)

  • Printing (web print)

Jesus College account - username nphelps

This is used to login to:

  • IT lab computers

  • Jesus Intranet

  • Battels Payment System (can be found on intranet)

You should have set this up as part of your registration process before arriving at Oxford.

Remote Access SSO Credentials - jesu1234@OX.AC.UK

This is used to login to:

  • Eduroam

  • Wired Ethernet connections in rooms

  • VPN Services

Bodleian libraries -Your username is your 7-digit University Card Number

This username is the number found on the left hand side of your Bod card, next to your photo. It is used for Bodleian Library Services. You can reset your password here.

Accommodation Online Account - Username of form phen001

This is used to accept your tenancy room agreements and keep your Next of Kin Information up to date. Most problems with accessing this system are most likely because you’re using the wrong username. Generally, you had to create this account before you had a college email address in order to apply for accommodation before you arrived. So the email address will probably not be your college email but your personal email. Your username will be of the form of the first 3 letters of your surname followed by the first letter of your first name. This should be found on the personal email address you used before you arrived at Oxford. If you can’t find this email it-support@jesus.ox.ac.uk from your college email account, and they can find your details for you.

What do I do if I’ve lost my University Card?

If you’ve lost your bod card, don’t worry! Just go to the lodge and they’ll sort a new one for you - you’ll have to pay £10 for a new one, which will arrive in a few days.

I can’t connect to the Jesus WLAN…

If you can no longer connect to the college network this may be because your anti-virus software licence expired. If this is the case, free anti-virus software Sophos is available to all members of the University here. You must also ensure that your firewall is enabled before you attempt to connect.
