In 5th week came around one of the biggest sporting events of the year for Jesus College, summer eights racing. Summer eights, for those not in the know, is essentially a four day long rowing race. Each day, rowing eights race down the river in an assigned order, attempting to bump the boat in front of them (or not get bumped!) in order to move up the order of boats on the river. The last day of summer eights as ever became a true college event, with a huge turnout of students and staff at the river enjoying the balmy weather, pimms from the boat house bar, a BBQ and lots of racing to watch.
Photos do more than just capturing the moment: they carry memories and emotions. In this photography exhibition, we are presenting photos of places JCR students have been to that gave them good memories. We’ve got pictures taken in China, Norway, Spain, New Zealand... We love the world.
