WELFARE EVENTS

Welfare tea is an event run every Sunday afternoon by our two welfare officers. We serve a variety of drinks and lots of free food, all in the relaxed environment of our JCR. Weekends at Oxford can sometimes be just as stressful as weekdays, so Welfare tea is a great chance to take a break from your work and have a chat with friends. It’s also a good way to get know the welfare team such as the reps and the peer supporters in college so you know where to go if you ever need to talk to someone.

‘Welfare-weekend’ takes place every mid-term, and we see a two-day programme of organised welfare activities in the JCR. Recent highlights include film screenings, yoga sessions and visits from specially-trained care dogs - these are all available to provide you with some welcome stress-relief from academic work.
