Message from a Student

Hi, I'm Teddy and I'm a second-year philosophy and theology (PhilThe) student. In your first year, you take four (‘prelims’) papers: General Philosophy, Logic & Moral Philosophy, The Figure of Jesus Throughout the Centuries, and another theology paper of your choice. In second and third year, you get to choose eight (‘Final Honour School’) papers from a wide range of options. Part of the reason PhilThe is such a great course is that it can be taken in almost any direction and there’s loads of room to carve your own path. There aren’t many PhilThe students in Jesus, but we’re all really friendly.
