Rowing (JCBC)
JCBC is a really welcoming environment for any college members wanting to row, whether you're a total novice ticking something off your Oxford bucket list, or an experienced athlete wanting to train with a competitive squad. We compete at both novice and senior levels, within the university network at Torpids and Eights and at external races like Head of the River and Henley. If you're interested in joining the club, want to come to a great crewdate or just want to understand what "blades" and "spoons" are, please get in touch!

Choir
Here at Jesus, we have a non-auditioning choir which practices every Thursday in the College Chapel, and sings Evensong every Sunday in term. It’s the perfect balance of being challenging but not too much commitment. Benefits include free singing lessons with a professional teacher and free Formal on Sundays after the service. There are eight auditioned section leaders in the choir, and this year we have Soprano, Alto and Tenor vacancies (all other singers are unauditioned). There's also a choir tour every summer!

Hockey
Hockey at Jesus College is a bit of no-commitment fun that you can turn up to whenever you want - it's so unserious that our team is joint with Worcester and Pembroke (yes, TWO other colleges). If you enjoy hockey and want to play casually, this is perfect for you - no commitments, no requirements!

Interdisciplinary Society
Why can we only study one or two subjects at Oxford? What if we could dive into completely different disciplines all at once without the burden of exams? In this new society we will do exactly that in a really informal and relaxed setting to foster a creative dialogue between STEM and humanities subjects.
